IMBA Special Seminar "Japan Post-Election Outlook - From Kamikaze Capitalism to Global Smart-power Leader"
Speaker: Mr. Jesper Koll
Japan – The Pacific Powerhouse
• Learn from a noted economist the underpinnings of the Japanese economy.
• Grasp where Japan’s competitive advantage truly lies.
• Discover the future trends of the Japanese market and the key drivers of growth.
Join leading economist and business analyst Jesper Koll for an insightful session about how the Japanese economy really operates.
Japan’s economy is better than her reputation. While China’s and India’s high growth rates grab headlines, corporate Japan remains the undisputed leader in many areas, from plant engineering to cars and electronics, from green-technologies and robotics to fashion design and both hard- and soft-ware for games.
Where is Japan’s competitive advantage? How do policy makers and corporate leaders respond to the challenge of China and global mega-competition? When will the fiscal deficit and pension problem become a problem? What are the key drivers of future growth? Why do foreign companies have difficulty entering the Japanese markets?
Koll will address these and more as he gives you the benefit of his more than twenty years of hands-on experience with business analysis and investment in Japan.
