Message from Director of the IMBA Administration Office
What does the IMBA expect from its students?
The International MBA (IMBA) wants to produce visionary leaders who create and innovate society. But what does it take to be such a business leader? We believe leaders have three main qualities: knowledge of "business frameworks," "conceptual skills" and "human skills," which we deliver through our program. However, we also want people to have a "personal vision," or a blueprint of what you want to achieve. In the IMBA, these visions are nurtured through encounters with classmates and lecturers. IMBA students are required to have global perspective and the ability to find a creative solution, as well as the ability to work through differences of opinion. In summary, the IMBA is a place where students with skills and vision come together to create something new.
After entering, students continue to grow by building their skills and mindset and using both in a comprehensive way. But the process of learning is often fraught with difficulties, and even the curriculum itself is often not enough to develop oneself fully. So, it is up to each individual student to push themselves to the utmost through activities such as study groups, seminars, club activities and informal gatherings. While some are arranged by the school, some of them should and will be led by students. The value of these activities in adding to your learning experience is unlimited, so please try to take advantage of as much as you can during your time with the program
The IMBA Administration Office will support you in many ways, such as preparing your application, course registration, helping you with daily campus matters and informing you of non-academic events. Sometimes we will act as a mentor who can help with your troubles and sometimes we will act as a supporter who can help enrich your student life. Regardless, the IMBA Administration Office's goal to have a close relationship with you throughout your life as a student and after you graduate.
