Applicants for the IMBA Program are required to satisfy all the following conditions at the time of entrance:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year university or college, or the equivalent from a recognized institution
- Three or more years of work experience
- Be at least 22 years of age

*To be exempted from “Evidence of English ability,” applicants need to complete a degree program taught completely in English.
Notes:
- All the documents except for 5, 6, and 10 must be submitted in English. If you submit applications written in languages other than English, the English translation should be attached as well.

Notes:
- Applicants from overseas need to apply for the September or November rounds in order to secure enough time to process the visa application.
- Reapplication for the IMBAprogram or the Japanese MBAprogram (GMBA) in the same academic year is not permissible.
- Applicants who are not available for the interview and examination period must let us know when they submit their application.
Application
Please submit all the application documents through registered mail to the Admissions Office. Your application must be received by the application
deadline.
Notes:
- If you wish to submit the documents directly, please come to the Admissions Office by 18:30 of the deadline date.
- Application via fax or email is not acceptable.
- Incomplete application documents will not be accepted.
- Once submitted, applicants will not be allowed to make any changes to the documents. Detection of false information will result in the withdrawal of the letter of acceptance.
- The application documents and the application fee cannot be returned once submitted.
- The Globis International Leader Scholarship admission process will concur along with IMBAadmissions. Please submit the scholarship application form and essay with your IMBA application documents.
- Applicants with disabilities should consult with the Admissions Office prior to the application if special care is needed at the interview and examination.
Interview and Examination
All applicants who pass the document screening will proceed to the second screening, an interview and
an examination. The Admissions Office will notify you of the interview and examination date by mail
and e-mail. In principle, applicants are not allowed to change the interview date/time appointed by the
Admissions Office.
- Interview (30 minutes)
- Examination (Logical thinking test, 60 minutes)
Notes:
- Students who have passed “Critical Thinking I” (grades of A, B or C) offered by the International MBA Program are exempted from the logical thinking examination.
- If you reside outside Japan, the interview and examination will be conducted over the phone.
Admission
Notification of admission will be mailed to the applicant. The admission result will not be
communicated by phone.
Registration
Registration documents will be sent to the admitted candidates with an admission letter. Please proceed
with the registration by the deadline stated on the admission documents.

Applicants who do not have a university degree or three years of work experience must pass a
preliminary screening, an individual screening process, to apply for the International MBA Program at
Globis University.
(1) How to Apply for the Preliminary Screening
- Please send your name and telephone number by email to the Admissions Office at least two days before the preliminary screening deadline listed below.
- Also, please submit the following two documents to theAdmissions Office either directly or through
registered mail by the preliminary screening deadline.
(a)Transcript from your most recent educational institution
(b)The IMBAApplication Form with sufficient information about your work experience
(Please attach a resume if you would like to add more information.)
You will also need to attend a special screening examination (60 minutes), which will be held at 19:00 p.m. at Globis University on the dates below.

(3) Screening Result
The Admissions Office will notify you by mail and e-mail about the screening result.
